It comes with a thick brown leather scabbard that is dated 1944 and also stamped with 83.

Here on offer is an original example of a post WW2 British military machete with a thick brown leather scabbard B.H. & G. Ltd dated 1955.

The two black composite grip slabs are in excellent solid condition. Unusually there are four smooth notches in the metal of the tang and both grips, that allows the four fingers of your hand to fit snuggly in the grip.
