Here on offer is an excellent example of a WW1 (RFC) Royal Flying Corps, gilt cap badge sweetheart brooch.

I believe this brooch started life as an RFC Cap Badge, but the rear fixing lugs have been removed and a “C” clasp and long pin professionally fitted in their place, so it could act as a brooch.

Early Pre WW2 Royal Air Force Volunteer Reserve RAFVR Silver Lapel Badge No.4395

Here on offer is a rare early example of an original and pre WW2 Royal Air Force Volunteer Reserve “RAFVR”, numbered silver lapel badge.

The badge is made from unmarked silver and I believe it was made by the Royal Mint.
