The badge is made up of a finely detailed Parachute Regiments winged emblem, made of gilt metal that has been mounted on what appears to be a Lucite disc that is emulating mother of pearl.

On the reverse it still has its original vintage gilt brass brooch pin and locking ‘C’ clip.
