Set of Six Hand Painted Porcelain French Napoleonic War Period Military Figures

Here on offer is a great set of six hand painted porcelain French soldiers dressed in uniforms from the Napoleonic Wars.

I believe they where made in the 1960’s, possibly in France or Japan and three have a makers symbol of a Crown above the letter ‘S’ on their base, which I can't trace.

I was told it has been made from the lid of a French copper milk churn, as used to supply the troops in France during WW1.
