The nickel-plated hilt fittings show some loss of plating and tarnishing.

Here on offer is a very ornate vintage Spanish Diplomat's dress sword, made in Toledo (Spain) with a black leather scabbard with detailed gilt fittings.

From some online research, it appears it was most likely made during the rule of the Spanish General Francisco Franco. He ruled Spain from 1939 to 1975 as a dictator, assuming the title Caudillo.

Here on offer is a really nice pair of original WW1 medals issued to a JAMES POVIS who served as a Merchant Navy Seaman on ROSS and HMHS LIBERTY.

He was born in 1891 in Port Isaac, Cornwall and from my limited research seems to have survived WW1.
