Charming Original Wall Hanging 1937 Calendar and 1936 Christmas Greeting Card - Coloured Print Titled “Trusty Friends”

Here on offer is a charming original wall hanging 1937 Calendar and 1936 Christmas and New Year greeting card depicting a coloured print titled “Trusty Friends”.

This original example depicts a cute colour print on a pieced circular card, of black and white scotty dogs sitting on a tree trunk, titled “Trusty Friends”.

The top of the print has a looped ribbon that can be used to hang it on a wall. Then hanging below the print by a strip of ribbon is a 1937 calendar.

Interestingly, the calendar actually doubles as a Christmas greeting card, where the first two pages have a printed Christmas message from:

Mr. & Mrs. W. E. Quick
Westway, Bouverie Avenue, Sailsbury.

The 1937 calendar is in its complete, original form with each month shown on a separate, tear off page. Fortunately, this calendar wasn’t used and now is a rare to find, making it a highly collectable piece from the 1930’s.

It is in excellent condition still displaying strong colours with just some light foxing on the back of the card.

This would look wonderful framed and that would help preserve it for the future.

The main print measures 5.25” (13.3cm) diameter.

It weighs 20g.
