Charming Original Wall Hanging 1938 Calendar and 1937 Christmas & New Year Greeting Card - Coloured Print of the “In Clover”

Here on offer is a charming original wall hanging 1938 Calendar and 1937 Christmas and New Year greeting card depicting a coloured print titled “In Clover”

This original example depicts a cute colour print (on-card) of a young girl feeding a horse some flowers, titled the “In Clover”.

The top of the print has a looped ribbon that can be used to hang it on a wall. Then hanging below the print by a strip of ribbon is a 1938 calendar.

Interestingly, the calendar actually doubles as a Christmas/New Year greeting card, where the first two pages have a printed Christmas/New Year message from:

Mr. & Mrs. J. E. Burman

45 Molineux Street, Derby.

The 1938 calendar is in its complete, original form with each month shown on a separate, tear off page. Fortunately, this calendar wasn’t used and now is a rare to find, making it a highly collectable piece from the 1930’s.

It is in excellent condition still displaying strong colours with just some light foxing on the back of the card.

This would look wonderful framed and that would help preserve it for the future.

The main print measures 5.3” (13.5cm) wide and 6.75” (17.2cm) high.

It weighs 33g.
