The image has been hand-coloured, with pink face cheeks and dark highlights to the neck collar tabs and cap.

WW2 Period Gentleman’s Double-Bladed Penknife by SMF Solingen c1940

Here on offer is a double-bladed gentleman’s penknife by SMF, Solingen, circa 1940.

The penknife has an unusual “one piece” ivorine handle, that looks like ivory. Ivorine was invented back in 1883 and is actually a synthetic ivory, made from cellulose nitrate.

The knife has two steel blades, that hinge out perfectly, one at each end.

This fine example of an antique Scottish kilt pin is decorated on the front with an engraved scroll motif.

All the hilt fittings seem to have lost most of their nickel-plated finish and now have a bright slightly grey finish to the metal.

Here on offer is an excellent genuine British WW1 SMLE 1907 Pattern Sanderson Bayonet with scabbard, that is regimental marked for “The Grenadier Guards”.
