Here on offer is an antique bone handled folding button hook, dating from around 1890.

The handle scales have been carved from bone or a similar more expensive material that is now a lovely cream colour. The scales are neatly pinned in place with three brass pins. There is a small loop hole at the top, so it may have originally had a suspension loop?
