Here on offer is a WW1 Trench Art brass dish embossed with the Cornish crest and the words FOR DAD that you can just make out above the crest.

On the back it is engraved with the soldier’s name and a date:

This small brass dish has a crimped wavey edge and now shows usage wear to the Cornish crest in the centre.

Here on offer is genuine and rare P&O Line “Peninsular and Oriental Steam Navigation Company”, Victorian 9.5” ironstone china compote dish, by G. L. Ashworth & Bros of Hanley, circa 1862.

This dish would have been used on the early paddle-steamers and steam ships that P&O operated during the mid to late 1800’s.

Here on offer is a British Officer’s blue cloth helmet metal hat tin owned by H.T. Collingridge, a 2nd Lieutenant with The Royal Scots circa 1900.

The tin has an oval maker's brass plate, for W. Cater & Co, 56 Pall Mall, London S.W.

Here on offer is an original trench fighting knife of the Austro-Hungarian Army M.1917, unit marked for the 97R Infantry Regiment.

This type of knife is also known as the Österreichisch-ungarisches Kampfmesser, Modell 1917.

It has a grip made from two slabs of smooth rounded hardwood, secured to the tang with three steel pins.

The copper has been finely worked to produce the detailed raised image of the bird and now has a nice patina to the finish.
