Here on offer is what appears to be a WW2 British Dispatch Rider or Paratroopers Helmet that has made into a wonderful “Pull A Long” Toy Tortoise.

I am no expert when it comes to WW2 helmets, but I am pretty sure it isn’t a Paratroopers Helmet, as I believe these where constructed of steel and this one is made from fibre.

Vintage Yacht Tufnol Sheave Block - Small Pulley by Main Marine England - Type 4-RS

Here on offer is a vintage yacht Tufnol sheave block or small pulley type 4-RS, made by Main Marine England.

The pulley is in excellent condition and looks to me as if it has never been used. The sides and the pulley wheel are made of Tufnol and the maker’s name ‘Main Marine’ is stamped on the metal plates, that are secured on both sides.

I have been told that these sweetheart cigarette cases where made by Italian POW's captured by the British Forces in North Africa in WW2. Apparently, they were traded for food and cigarettes by the Italian POW’s.

Here on offer is a near mint vintage gold plated single bladed penknife keyring, by Richards of Sheffield, circa 1960.

The knife handle has been machine turned on both sides and gold plated and retains a bright finish.

Here on offer is a WW2 US Army Quartermasters bone letter opener with brass badge, circa1940

This interesting letter opener has been made from a fine piece of animal bone that has been fitted with a brass WW2 US Army Quartermasters badge at the top.

The bone now has a really smooth finish and shows some dark age staining which gives it a pleasant marbled effect.read more
