Original WW1 German P08 Luger Hard Shell Leather Holster by R. Nagel & Co. 1914

Here on offer is an original WW1 German P08 luger hard shell leather holster by R. Nagel & Co, Bielefeld, Germany, dated 1914.

The very dark brown/black hard shell leather holster is stamped on the front with the maker’s details and date, which are:

R. NAGEL & Co.
BIELEFELD
1914

It retains both original belt loops, which are now flat against the case and all the stitching is strong and secure. It still retains its original closure strap, which now shows signs of flaking and cracking to the top surface and needs to be treated with care, but still works.
The take down tool pouch that was originally stitched inside the lid, has been removed at some point in its service life. Apart from this the holster is in excellent original condition.

It measures 9.4” (24cm) long and 7.5” (19cm) wide and weighs 300g.
