Vintage British Army Folding 2-Piece Stainless Steel Clasp or Jack Knife by Joseph Adams Dated 1993

Here on offer is a vintage British army issued folding, 2-piece stainless steel clasp or jack knife, by Jospeh Adams of Sheffield, dated 1993.

975-7402: Part of the NATO Stock Number (NSN) used to catalog and identify standard military equipment and supplies.

J.A. 1993: Stands for the manufacturer, Joseph Adams of Sheffield, and the year it was made (1993).

Broad Arrow Symbol (): The government "crow's foot" mark, which signifies official property of the British Crown or Ministry of Defence.

OIL THE JOINTS: A traditional instructional stamp used on military pocket knives to remind soldiers to lubricate the moving parts and prevent rust.


It has a 2.75” sheepsfoot blade, a combination can and bottle opener, along with a screwdriver tip and at the other end a lanyard loop.

On one of the stainless steel grip plates it is stamped with:

This knife is in excellent condition, with just some light scratch marks to the sheepsfoot stainless steel blade.

The blade and can opener fold into the grip, making it compact and easy to carry.

The blade cutting edge measures 2.4” (6cm) long and the knife when closed is 3.75” (9.5cm) long, excluding the lanyard ring.

It weighs 88g.
