Here on offer is a mint example of a top quality Spanish, MUELA PIK-AS skinning knife with 3.75” curved stainless steel blade and stitched leather sheath.

This knife has never been used it has just been stored away.

MUELA is currently classed as one of the strongest firms in handcrafted knives for hunting, both in Spain and the rest of the world and its knives and penknives are highly appreciated for their top quality.

The PIK-AS is one of Muela's most popular knives. Extremely handy and easy to carry due to its size and light weight. It features a comfortable rubber handle and a strong short blade with a rounded sharp cutting edge.

The handle is made of a soft synthetic rubber with a chequered pattern, that guarantees a good grip. It has a brass lined lanyard hole at the top. A single guard hilt prevents the hand from slipping on the blade.

The curved polished blade is made from 420H grade stainless steel. It offers high hardenability in the 54-58 HRC range, as well as strength, ductility, machinability and corrosion resistance. The high carbon content forms chromium carbide compounds, providing wear resistance and edge retention after hardening.

You can still see all the cross graining to the polished blade.

It comes with a hand-stitched, brown leather sheath, that has a retaining strap and press stud, the top of which has the MM letter logo.

The knife is just in perfect mint unused condition.

The blade measures 3.75” (9.5cm) long and the knife is 7.75” (19.7cm) in total length.

It weighs 160g.
