Mint Silver, Enamel and Marcasite Royal Navy Sweetheart Brooch c1930

Here on offer is a top quality mint silver, enamel and marcasite Royal Navy Sweetheart Brooch, circa 1930.

This top quality Royal Navy silver sweetheart brooch, has been made in the style of an officer's cap badge.

It depicts a crowned fouled anchor within laurel sprays, cast in solid thick sterling silver. The crown is inset with red enamel and the whole brooch is set with sparkling marcasite stones.

On the reverse it retains the original fixing pin with safety roller catch. There are no markings on the brooch but it tests for sterling (925) grade silver.

It is in mint condition with all the stones present.

It measures 1” (2.4cm) wide and weighs 6g.
