Scarce Framed Set of 8 Coloured Postcards of Landmarks of Antwerp and the Image of Albert I of Belgium
Here on offer is a framed set of 8 coloured postcards of landmarks of Antwerp that when placed together depict the image of Albert I of Belgium.
Albert I was King of the Belgians from 23 December 1909 until his death in 1934. He is popularly referred to as the Knight King or Soldier King in Belgium in reference to his role during World War I.
The coloured postcards are unused and appear to be in mint condition, but I haven’t removed them from the frame, as it appears to have been professionally sealed.
The wooden frame has a glass front and maroon backing panel.
The frame measures 17.5” (44.4cm) by 15” (38.2cm) and weighs 1.4Kg.
