Milton China Crested Ware Sack Jug Depicting Lucky Black Cat with Swastika c1920

Here on offer is a fine example of a Milton white china crested ware sack jug, circa 1920.

On the front it depicts a smiling black cat with a “good luck” Swastika and the words:

BEST OF LUCK

The fine white china jug is in excellent condition, no cracks and it retains its red glazing to the rim and handle. There is just a tiny section of red glazing missing at the top of the handle, as shown in my photos.

On the base it has the Milton cavalier trade mark and maker’s details.

It measures 3” (7.7cm) high and weighs 83g.
