Small Custom Made Kiridashi Tactical Neck Knife with Black Kydex Sheath

Here on offer is a small custom made Kiridashi tactical neck knife with black Kydex sheath.

Kiridashi’s are typically small and fixed-blade, often crafted from a single piece of steel. They were originally used in Japan for woodworking, bamboo crafting, and sharpening pencils, etc. They are now popular as versatile everyday carry (EDC) tools or "neck knives"

This Kiridashi is formed from one piece of high grade carbon steel and features a straight sharp 1.45” cutting edge.

The flat grip/tang has satin finished and is stamped with the letter “B” in a stylised font, that is the maker’s mark. Unfortunately, I don’t know who the maker is? It is also fitted with a short lanyard loop, to aid with its easy removal from the sheath.

Making it easy to keep close at hand, the Kiridashi knife is accompanied by a custom fit black Kydex neck sheath, that has holes to enable a neck chain to be fitted. The sheath is also stamped with the maker’s letter “B” mark.

For a small knife, the Kiridashi can play a big role as part of your EDC (Everyday Care) kit. They make outstanding utility blades and are light enough to not even be noticed when worn and are easily concealed.

This fine example is in excellent condition and makes a great collectors utility knife.

The knife measures 3” (7.5cm) long, without the loop and has a 1.45” (3.7cm) long cutting edge.

With the sheath, it weighs 22g.
