WW1 The Kings Royal Rifles Silver Rimmed, Gilt Brass, Enamel and Mother of Pearl Sweetheart Brooch

Here on offer is a really beautiful example of a WW1 The Kings Royal Rifles silver rimmed, gilt brass, enamel and mother of pearl sweetheart brooch, with a King’s Crown.

The brooch is in excellent condition and retains all the enamel to the metal regimental crest, that is pinned to a stunning mother of pearl disc, that is held in a circular silver frame.

The regimental crest depicts the ‘French Horn’ within a title circlet with ‘The Kings Royal Rifles’ set on a Maltese Cross. At the top is a King’s Crown, with PENINSULA below.

On the brass reverse it still retains its long fixing pin and “C” clasp.

It measures 1.3” (3.4cm) diameter and weighs 7.6g.
