Vintage Bronze and Enamel Shooting Medal for the Brighton & District League Division 1 Winners in 1950

Here on offer is a vintage bronze and enamel shooting medal for the Brighton & District League Division 1 winners, in 1950.

I believe these annual shooting competitions were linked to the Delancey Shield?

This attractive bronze medal depicts two enamel shields and inlaid in blue enamel are the words:

BRIGHTON & DISTRICT LEAGUE

On the reverse it is engraved with the details:

Winners.
Div.1.
1950

It is also impressed with the famous maker's details:

THOMAS FATTORINI
LIMITED
BIRMINGHAM.

It is excellent original condition and has a small brass suspension ring at the top.

It measures 1.7” (4.3cm) high (excluding the ring) by 1.1” (2.7cm) wide and weighs 12.4g.
