Rare Joseph Rodgers Special Edition 2000 Millennium Collectors Lambsfoot Folding Knife - Mint in Box

Here on offer is a rare Joseph Rodgers special edition 2000 Millennium collectors Lambsfoot folding knife, still in its clear plastic box and in mint condition.

I bought this knife brand new from Joseph Rodgers of Sheffield in 2000, as a memento of the 2000 millennium. It has been displayed, in its clear plastic box, in a glass display case for the last 25 years.

I believe the production run on this special edition knife was very low, so they are rare to find these days, especially in mint condition!

These were made as a small “range” of special edition knives to commemorate the 2000 millennium.

This knife has a mint 2.75” polished stainless steel blade that is stamped on one side of the ricasso with the Jospeh Rodgers makers mark of the Star and Maltese cross stamp and the name:

RODGERS
SHEFFIELD
ENGLAND

The Star and Malta cross marks was originally that of Benjamin Rich. Rogers registered the same mark in 1764.

The grip scales are made of stainless steel and are held in place by three brass domed headed rivets.

One of the scales is completely covered with the etched word “MILLENNIUM” and the year “2000” both in an artistic font.

The knife comes in its original clear plastic box with black removable ends. There is a design reference number on one side of the end, that reads as:

61SP/2K2.

This is a great opportunity to obtain a rare mint special edition Joseph Rodgers knife, that can’t be upgraded.

The blade measures 2.75” (7cm) long with a cutting edge of 2.25” (5.7cm) and the knife itself is a total of 6” (15.2cm) long when open.

It weighs 68g.
