Deluxe WW2 German Army Officers Dagger Hangers with Top Oak Leaf Metal Fittings

Here on offer is a set of deluxe WW2 German Army Officers dagger hangers with top oak leaf metal fittings.

Although these deluxe hangers have clearly been worn and have lost a lot of their original finish, they will still look good on any aged WW2 German Army dagger.

The fittings on this set are the earlier heavy metal alloy type.

The oval buckles and slides retain the fine oak leaf pattern and show small traces of the original silvered finish.

The two lower oak leaf patterned “slider” spring clips are in full working order.

The top suspension bar is the deluxe oak leaf patterned type and is stamped with D.R.G.M. on the front and it has lost nearly all of the original finish.
The two straps are fitted to the suspension bar with two folded metal tabs, that are riveted in place and have a fine oak leaf pattern on the front and are marked D.R.G.M. at the top.

The two straps are good condition, with silver brocade to the front and moss green velvet backings.

The brocade shows some wear at the very top but the remaining brocade is actually in excellent condition.

The velvet on the back shows some contact rub marks/wear.

These genuine original straps have seen some service but would complement any Army/Wehrmacht dagger with similar true service wear.

The longest hanger measures 10.75” (27.3cm) from the top bar to the tip of the lower clip and they weigh 90g.
