Beautiful Vintage German made DRUCO Chrome Plated Table Lighter c1950

Here on offer is a beautiful vintage German made DRUCO chrome plated table lighter c1950.

The lighter seems to have been constructed from brass that has been finely chrome plated.

The flat sides have a detailed Deco style machine turned pattern and the front has a blank cartouche that could be engraved with a name or initials.

The thin ends have a plain polished chrome finish and the front end is stamped with the name DRUCO.

The lighter mechanism is activated by just pressing the domed button on the side, to light the wick.

The top casing just pulls off from the lipped base, to reveal the flint screw and fuel reservoir.

It is in great working order and looking at the wick and flint wheel, I don’t think has ever been used?

It is being sold without a flint or any fuel to comply with shipping regulations.

This example is in excellent condition, with just the slightest loss of plating on the lower edge of the reservoir, where the top cover has been removed and replaced.

The base retains its original dark green felt.

It measures 2.9” (7.3cm) high by 2.9” (7.3cm) wide and 1” (2.5cm) deep.

It weighs 185g.
