WW2 Royal Marines Cap Badge - Trench Art Brass Matchbox Cover

Here on offer is a WW2 Royal Marines cap badge - trench art brass matchbox cover, complete with an empty original Bryant & May “BRYMAY” matchbox.

The front has a WW2 Royal Marines blackened brass cap badge attached.

On the back edge you can see where solder has been used to join the back plate to the folded front section, which is either how it was originally made or is possibly an aged repair?

It comes with an empty box of vintage BRYMAY safety matches.

The matchbox cover measures 2.25” (5.7cm) high by 1.6” (4cm) wide and is 0.75” (2cm) deep.

It weighs 51g.
