Mint Vintage 16" French Champagne Sabre by Laguiole

Here on offer is a beautiful vintage French champagne Sabre by Laguiole that I bought new in France back in the 1980’s. It did come originally in a boxwood case, but I have unfortunately mislaid it, so it comes without a case.

It is in mint unused condition and has a polished xx” long, slightly curved stainless steel blade, etched on one side with:

LAGUIOLE
a champagne

It has a large brass bolster set on the top with the famous polished steel “Bee” logo.

It has a full length blade tang that has been skilfully worked with a grooved pattern on the top edge.

The shaped grip is made of two beautiful naturally patterned rosewood slabs that are held in place with three large brass pins.

The whole Sabre is 16.3” (41.5cm) long with a 11” (28cm) blade.

It weighs 255g.
