Vintage Oval China Serving Dish with a Scene of Gun Dogs Spooking Pheasants by Sovereign China Ltd

Here on offer is a fine example of a vintage hand coloured transfer print oval china serving dish by Sovereign China Ltd, Stoke-on-Trent, England.

It depicts a classic English hunting scene of gun dogs spooking pheasants into the air during a pheasant shoot.
The edge of the plate has a slightly raise and scalloped edge with a gilt line.

On the rear of the plate is a clear markers mark:

FINE BONE CHINA

SOVEREIGN CHINA LTD

STOKE-ON-TRENT

MADE IN ENGLAND

This example is in excellent condition with a prefect undamaged glazed finish.

It measures 13.75” (35cm) by 10.8” (27.5cm) and weighs 865g.
