Unique Hand Crafted Steel Sculpture in the form of a Tree Trunk with an Axe

Here on offer is a unique sculpture has been skilfully made using molten stainless steel, that has been hand crafted into the form of a section of tree trunk, with an axe attached.

The metalwork artist has used the flow of cooling molten steel to emulate the rough bark of a tree, with domed nodules that look like the points where branches would naturally form.

The top has been cut at a 45 degree angle and polished to a mirror finish that actually could be engraved with a dedication if so required.

A small polished axe has been made from stainless steel and the end of the handle has been welded to the trunk.

You really have to see and hold this sculpture in the “flesh”, to truly appreciate the expertise that went into creating it.

It is in excellent condition and would make a irreplaceable gift for someone who works or appreciates trees and can also be used as a paperweight.

It measures 9” (23cm) tall by 7.3” (18.5cm), diameter and weighs a heavy 895g.
