Charming Georgian Period Silver Pocket Watch Fob with a Bloodstone and Watch Key c1830

Here on offer is an ornate Georgian period silver pocket watch fob, set with bloodstone and a watch key, circa 1830.

I think this tiny fob it just charming and unique.

The fob is made from an ornate silver dome that is set with a circular bloodstone in the base. There are no hallmarks but it tests as 925 grade silver.

Then there is a handmade twisted chain link that connects the fob to a tiny metal pocket watch key.

The square key opening seems to measure just under 1mm, so I think this is a key size “00”.

This is really an unusual pocket watch fob and is in excellent condition.

It measures 1.6” (4cm) end to end and the fob is 0.5” (1.2cm) diameter.

It weighs 4.5g.
