WW2 US Army Quartermasters Bone Letter Opener with Brass Badge c1940

Here on offer is a WW2 US Army Quartermasters bone letter opener with brass badge, circa1940

This interesting letter opener has been made from a fine piece of animal bone that has been fitted with a brass WW2 US Army Quartermasters badge at the top.

The bone now has a really smooth finish and shows some dark age staining which gives it a pleasant marbled effect.

It is in excellent condition with just a couple of tiny edge knicks.

It measures 8.25” (22cm) long by 0.9” (2.3cm) wide and weighs 37g.
