Genuine WW1 1915 British Military Officers Trench Whistle by J Hudson & Co. of Birmingham with original Leather Strap

Here on offer is a genuine WW1 1915 British Military Officers trench whistle by J Hudson & Co. of Birmingham with its original leather strap.

They are both in excellent original condition, please see my photos.

The cylindrical nickel silver metal whistle is in excellent undamaged and full working condition.

The front is stamped with the maker’s name, year of manufacture and the British Military Broad Arrow or Crows Foot Mark:

Attached to the ring is the original dark brown leather strap, with the buttonhole slot cut near the top, for fitting to the officer’s coat.

It is rare to find this type of early 1915 WW1 trench whistle, with a Broad Arrow mark and the leather strap still in place.

The whistle measures 3.1” (8cm) long to the top of the ring and 0.7” (1.7cm) diameter.

The metal strap measures 5.7” (14.3cm) long, end to end.

It weighs 40g.
