Rare Original Vintage Advertising Display Box of PLAZA “Blue Steel Blades” with 20 x 5 packs of Blades c1950

Here on offer is an original vintage shop display box for PLAZA “Blue Steel Blades” that still contains the 20 unopened packs of 5 razor blades.

These are rare and really impossible to find these days!

The box is made from card and when the top is raised it folds back to form a display advert for the razor blades, that originally sold at 5 for 1 shilling back in circa 1950.

The shaving razor blades were made from surgical grade steel, in Britain by the Anglo American Blade Co., of New York and London.

The 20 packs of blades remain in mint condition and have never been opened, being sealed/glued at both ends of the pack.

The outer display case has a small section of corner missing and has been Sellotaped around the front edge.

This complete box, makes a great display/advert for a period shop/museum, or just a great addition to a razor collection.

The box with the 20 packs measures 5.6” (14.3cm) by 4” (10.2cm) by 0.75” (1.8cm) and weighs 135g.
