Full Size English Hallmarked Silver Key Pendant 1977
Here on offer is a full size English hallmarked silver key pendant, dates to 1977.
The key itself is shaped like a “YALE” key and has a plain finish to both sides.
It has the required groves on the arm that means it can actually be cut to fit a door lock.
On one side there is a clear set of English silver hallmarks, the Lion Passant for English silver (925), a leopard for the assay office of London and the date letter “C” for the year 1977.
It also shows the makers mark that are the letters “HJ”, but sadly I can’t find out the English maker they refer to?
The key is in excellent condition with just some very light surface scratches.
It measures 2.2” (5.4cm) long and 0.9” (2.3cm) diameter at the top.
It weighs 2.4g of solid sterling silver
