Near Mint Original WW1 German Soldier's Patriotic Silver and Enamel Ring with Iron Cross

Here on offer is a near mint example of an original WW1 German soldier's patriotic silver and enamel ring with enamel iron cross.

This is the best example of this style of shield shaped German WW1 ring that I have seen.

The inset-coloured enamel flag stripes and black Iron Cross are in excellent undamaged condition, with just some minor surface scratches that you can only see with a loop.

The silver ring is stamped “800” on the inside, indicating the grade of German silver.

The thinner ring section is not perfectly round, but I am being picky and this could easily be corrected if so required.

The ring size measures about a UK “O” and US “7.25” as shown in my photos.

The ring measures approximately 0.67” (1.7cm) inner diameter and weighs 2.6g.
