Unusual WW1 China Model of a ZEPPELIN – with the Crest for the ARMS OF WALES
Here on offer is an unusual WW1 china “crest-ware” model of a zeppelin with the crest for the arms of Wales.
What makes this example unusual is the size which is larger than normal being 6.75” (17.3cm) long and the fact it has a “nipple” section extending from the rear, near the fins for a stanhope viewer that is now sadly missing.
On the front is a coloured crest transfer image of the shield for the Arms of Wales.
There is no visible makers mark that I can see but one of the main manufactures was Arcadian China who produced such items between 1906 and 1924.
The Zeppelin model is in really excellent condition with just some minor surface age cracks to the glaze finish and a tiny chip to the top fin, as shown in my photos.
The model measures 6.75” (17.3cm) long and weighs 48g.
Please see my pictures for the details of the condition, which complement this description.
Please see my TERMS OF BUSINESS regarding Deliver Charges and Insurance regarding additional insurance cover, should you require it, BEFORE the item is dispatched.
The responsibility lies with the customer to check with your Customs restrictions that this item can be imported into your country.
