Antique Victorian Bamboo “Soap” Box used by ERNST HEINRICHSEN of Nuremberg to Ship their Flat Tin Toy Soldiers c1900

Here on offer is an empty antique Victorian bamboo “Soap” box used by the famous ERNST HEINRICHSEN of Nuremberg to contain and ship their flat tin toy soldier figures, circa 1900.

This is an early version of the oval type of box they used and is in excellent condition with no cracks or splits, just a corner section of the label is now missing.

The hand written section of the label seems to imply it contained 12 pieces made up of different regiments of Dragon’s guards.

This box will make a great addition to any antique toy soldier display.

It measures 3” (7.6cm) by 2.25” (5.7cm) and is 1.3” (3.5cm) high.

It weighs 15g.
