Large Vintage Sterling Silver Zeppelin Airship Brooch c1930

Here on offer is a stunning vintage sterling silver Zeppelin airship brooch, circa 1930.

The brooch depicts the image of a Zeppelin airship from the time of their heyday, the 1930’s.

On the back it is stamped 925, meaning it has been made from solid sterling silver.

It also retains its original long securing pin and swivel locking clasp.

It is worth noting that these brooches where actually reproduced in 1986 by an American company called J&J. These brooches were made from pewter with a silvered finish and signed by the designer and stamped “JJ 1986”, so are easy to identify from the originals.

This original solid silver Zeppelin brooch is in excellent condition and are hard to find these days.

The brooch is 3” (7.8cm) long and weighs 23.5g of solid silver.
