Here on offer is a vintage Pussers Rum - Royal Navy copper 1/2 gill rum measure - H.M.S. WARRIOR 1860

This is an authentic replica of a tin lined copper Royal Navy 1/2 gill rum measure, that was made by Pussers Rum as part of a series of replicas with various ships names, back in the 1960’s I believe.

The 1/2 gill measure represents a full daily “tot” of rum as issued on H.M. ships from 1655 until 1970.

The front of the fine example is stamped with:

GI½LL
HMS WARRIOR
1860

On the base it has the Pussers Rum makers mark within an oval, with an R in a circle for registered.

The measure is in excellent condition with no damage and has a polished finish.

It measures 2” (5cm) high and 2” (5cm) diameter at the top.

It weighs 72g.
