Scottish Police Presentation Truncheon with Display Stand to CDR. G.C. GEORGE by The Scottish Police Association - 10 Nov 1983

Here on offer is a beautifully made large presentation truncheon with a display stand.

It was presented to Commander G.C. George of the Scottish Police Authority, possibly on his retirement?

The truncheon and rectangular stand seem to have been made from walnut or a light oak wood and there is a rectangular brass plaque on mounted on the front that reads:

The truncheon and display stand are in excellent undamaged condition and make a really impressive display piece for any Police collection, especially Scottish Police, which is uncommon.

The truncheon measures 19.5” (49.5cm) long and weighs 405g.

The base is 23” (58.4cm) by 5” (12.7cm) and weighs 1.2Kg.
