Royal Navy H.M.S. RENOWN Gilt Metal and Mother of Pearl Sweetheart Brooch

Here on offer is a scarce original H.M.S. RENOWN sweetheart brooch.

The badge is in excellent condition and is made up of a finely detailed gilt metal and blue enamel H.M.S. RENOWN emblem, mounted onto a circular disc of mother of pearl.

This style was popular during WW1 and into WW2.

On the reverse it still has its original gilt brass brooch pin and ‘C’ clip, which is the type used on WW1 period pieces.

The brooch measures 1.1” (2.8cm) diameter and weighs 8g.
