Large George V Coronation Souvenir Poster – Supplement to The St. Austell Star and Cornish Advertiser June 22nd 1911

Here on offer is an unusual, large H. M. King George V Coronation souvenir poster, produced as a supplement to ‘The St. Austell Star and Cornish Advertiser’ on Thursday June 22nd 1911.

The black and white poster measures 25” x 20” and depicts fine images of the Royal Portraits and other related details of historical Royal figures, buildings and events.

I can’t find another example of this poster and assume only a few were actually produced and I doubt if many still exist, especially in such excellent condition.

It does show some original crease/fold lines and tiny holes, where it was folded to allow it to be inserted inside the newspaper. There is no foxing and all the images are still crystal clear.
