Custom Pistol Shaped Damascus Folding Knife by Mr Koobi with Belt Holster

Here on offer is an unusual handmade custom pistol shaped Damascus folding knife by Mr. Koobi, with a belt holster.

My understanding is that all the Damascus fittings and blade on this knife are made from over 200 layers of 1095 and 15N25 steel.

It has a hardness over 58 Hrc on the Rockwell scale.

The inner plates are made from polished brass and the edges have been expertly worked, as have the back lever spring and grip spine.

The spring is strong and works extremely well with the blade locking securely into place.

It comes with a hard black leather stitched holster with a securing strap and press stud.

Overall, it is in excellent condition but does show some small dark patches to the finish on the edges of the Damascus steel? However, I would say the knife has never been used and I believe has just been stored in the holster, so the darkening might have been caused where the leather (tannin) has touched the edges?

The blade measures 4” (10.2cm) and when closed, the ‘pistol’ measures 5.4” (13.7cm) long and weighs a heavy 495g.
