Antique National Rifle Association NRA Bronze Medal with Original Case by Elkington & Co. Ltd
Here on offer is a mint example of an antique National Rifle Association, NRA, bronze medal with its original case by Elkington & Co. Ltd, circa 1910.
The bronze medal is in an oval form and beautifully decorated on the front side with a design for the "N. R. A., Rifle Clubs". The central area has been pierced out highlighting the two shooting figures that are depicted on the NRA emblem.
The reverse side is plain and hasn't been engraved.
The condition is mint and I would say this medal has never been issued or worn.
It comes still fitted in its original leatherette hinged case with its maker’s name inside the silk lined lid:

The medal (with loop) measures 1.8” (4.6cm) by 1.1” (2.7cm) and weighs 13g.
