Original WW2 Souvenir of Italy Campaign Link Bracelet dated 1945

Here on offer is an original WW2 souvenir of Italy campaign link bracelet, dated 1945.

It seems to be made from silver plated brass and has a larger central plaque with an elliptically rounded shape.

These bracelets usually depict the campaigns and battles the soldier was involved in and vary from bracelet to bracelet.

On the front in relief is the image of a smoking Mount Etna and the famous she-wolf with Romulus and Remus.

Also stamped on the front are the names of some of the campaigns:

Naples, Anzio, Firenze, and Roma with the year date 1945.

Then either side of the central plaque are four small rectangular “links”, eight in total.

Two on each side have further campaign/battle names on them, which are: Livorn(o), Africa, Salerno and Sicil(y).

The bracelet has a flat clip and slot at the ends which holds it securely in place.

It is in excellent condition and retains a bright finish, with some very slight plating lose on the back.

The bracelet measures 7.5” (19cm) long, end to end and weighs 15g.
