Original Royal Navy Boatswains Bosun Whistle and 52" Long Brass Chain - Named to N. NOONAN

Here on offer is an original Royal Navy boatswains bosun whistle and 52” long brass chain, named to a N. NOONAN.

The only markings stamped on the whistle are the ratings name: N. NOONAN.

I can’t accurately date this example, but from others I have seen I would guess it was from the WW2 period or just after.

It is in excellent condition and working order, with a very loud pitched whistle!

It comes with its original 52” long brass chain attached.

The whistle measures 4.5” (11.4cm) long and with the chain weighs 80g.
