23rd Battalion - The London Regiment – Boxing Bronze Medal to Private R. Collins 1930

Here on offer is a bronze medal that was awarded to Private R. Collins of the 23rd Battalion, The London Regiment, in 1930.

The medal with its suspension ring, is in excellent condition and now has a fine patina finish to the bronze.

The front depicts a cap badge image for the 23rd Battalion, The London Regiment and the motto:

LOYALTY UNITES US

On the reverse it has been engraved with the words:

BOXING BANTAM WEIGHT
PVTE.
R. COLLINS.
1930

The medal (without the ring) measures 1.25” (3.16cm) diameter and weighs 22g.
