WW2 German Nazi Calf Leather Folding Banknote Wallet

Here on offer is a rare to find, WW2 German Nazi leather folding banknote wallet.

This small and thin folding wallet is made from the finest brown calf leather and is in near mint condition, with all the original stitching still intact.

It has two sections inside for banknotes and a gold embossed Nazi Swastika on the front. There is some slight loss of the embossing to the upper section of the swastika.

There is no makers name or mark that I can see.

I imagine this was made for a serving German officer, but looks to have hardly been used.

This came with a German leather briefcase and writing implement holder from France, many years ago.

It measures 3.4” (8.7cm) by 3.75” (9.5cm) when folded closed and weighs 18g.
