WW2 RAF Perspex Sweetheart Pendant with Chain
Here on offer is a hand made example of a WW2 RAF Perspex sweetheart pendant with its original chain.
I was told from the family I bought it from, that it was made from the Perspex canopy of a damaged WW2 RAF fighter plane and the cut-out Crown and Eagle from a RAF Officers brass button.
The thin silver plated chain is 16” (40.6cm) long, end to end and has a screw together clasp. It has a dark patina finish to the plating that would brighten up with a clean if so required.
It is excellent original condition, the Perspex is crystal clear and the emblem shows the true age patina for an item from the WW2 period.
The Pendant is 1.4” (3.5cm) high by 1” (2.4cm) wide and 0.2” (0.4cm) thick.
It weighs 6.4g.
