Beautiful Large Vintage Real Stag Horn Cigar Cutter – by M.& W.Co. Ltd circa 1950

Here on offer is a stunning large vintage real stag antler or deer horn, cigar cutter, circa 1950.

The Deer Antler handle is a beautiful example with a lovely patina and is very tactile to hold.

The metal pieces of the cutter appear to made from polished nickel silver and is in full working order with a sprung ‘V’ cutter at the front and two smaller circular cutters, one on each side.

The thin cutter arm is stamped on one side FOREIGN and on the other the English reseller M. & W. Co. Ltd who I can’t find any details about?

Most of these cutters where actually made in Germany and I believe they used the name FOREIGN in place of Germany as after WW2 people where reluctant to by German goods!

This example just oozes quality and it is in really mint condition.

The cutter and handle measure 10.75” (27.3cm) long and the cutter “V” opening at the front is 0.7” (1.7cm) diameter.

It weighs 210g.
