WW1 (Portsmouth) Crested China Model of a British E Class Submarine

Here on offer is a great example of a crested china model of a WW1 British E Class Submarine.

The left hand side has the colour transfer crest (with some hand painting) for the English city of Portsmouth.

This example doesn’t have a makers mark but has been made with the same “mould” as a Devonia Art China example I have also listed.

The Submarine model is in excellent/near mint condition, no chips or cracks, just some loss of gilt to the upper edges.

A great piece of Antique WW1 Crested China that makes a great display item.

The model measures 4.75” (12.1cm) long and weighs 60g.
