WW2 British Brass Pocket Petrol Lighter by SEIGNEUR circa 1943
Here on offer is a great example of a WW2 period British brass pocket petrol lighter by SEIGNEUR that dates to 1943.
The lighter has been manufactured in England by SEIGNEUR that has been stamped on the bottom edge along with an Rd No. 839372, which dates it to 1943.
The main parts of the lighter have been made from brass and the whole outer case has a smooth polished finish.
The top lid pulls off to reveal the original lighter wick and flint wheel that still spins, but I have removed the flint to comply with shipping regulations.
The main body section fits tightly but does pull out to allow access so the lighter wick pad so it can be refuelled.
There is no lighter fuel (petrol) in the lighter, to also meet shipping regulations.
The lighter is in excellent used condition and will make a great addition to any lighter collection.
It measures 0.9” (2.2cm) wide, 2.25” (5.9cm) high and 0.3” (0.8cm) thick.
It weighs 22g.
