Stunning WW2 Royal Army Service Corps Silver, Enamel and Faux Diamond Sweetheart Brooch

Here on offer is a beautiful example of a WW2 period Royal Army Service Corps silver, enamel and faux diamond Sweetheart Brooch.

This fine quality silver brooch is in excellent condition and retains nearly all the green, blue and red enamel, there are just a couple of tiny chips missing.

The front displays the unique logo emblem and motto for the Royal Army Service Corps and displays the George the VI cypher.

The edges of the starburst pattern, are set with small faux diamonds, that are still all in place.

I can’t find any maker or hallmarks but it does test positive for 925 Sterling grade silver and weighs a heavy 13.2g.

On the reverse it still retains its original fixing pin and “C” clasp.

It comes with a period brown leather covered jewellers case, that has their name inside the lid:

The brooch measures 1.3” (3.5cm) wide by 1.3” (3.5cm) high.
